Dr. Wes Conner serves as the Senior Pastor of Westside Baptist Church alongside his wife, Eve. Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, they relocated to Ormond Beach after Pastor Wes retired from full-time pastoral ministry in Kentucky, only to find God calling them into a new season of service here at Westside.

Pastor Wes holds degrees from Trinity Baptist College (B.A. in Pastoral Theology), Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary (M.A. in Religion), and a Doctor of Educational Ministry (D.Ed.Min.) from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He served churches across Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Washington, and Virginia while retiring from a distinguished career as a U.S. Army intelligence officer in 2005.

Throughout their ministry journey, Eve has faithfully served alongside Pastor Wes as a musician, counselor, women's ministry leader, and mentor to many.  Together, they have two adult children and two grandsons, and they are grateful and honored to serve the Westside family and the greater Daytona Beach community through the ministries of our church.
