The Westside Baptist Worship Choir
Come join us! All you need is a heart for worship and a willingness to be led by the Holy Spirit — no professional abilities or audition required. All ages welcome. At Westside Baptist Church, our Worship Choir is more than a group of people who sing together — we are a ministry family united in Christ. We gather to glorify the Lord through music, to encourage our church family, and to share HIS love with the Daytona Beach community. Whether you have been in a choir before or have never sung in a
group, there is a place for you here.
Our Mission
To lead God’s people in worship, build relationships rooted in Jesus Christ, and serve our community through the gift of music. Our Purpose
We are a loving, multi-generational group — from age 10 to senior adults — who encourage one another, grow together in our faith, and welcome newcomers with open arms. Many of our members have served faithfully for a lifetime, while others are just beginning their choir journey. What unites us is a shared love for the Lord and a desire to be used by God for His glory.
How to Join the Worship Choir
You don't need to read music or have prior training—just bring a willing heart. To join:
1. Love the Lord and seek to honor HIM through music and service.
2. Commit to attending 5 PM Sunday weekly rehearsals and Sunday morning 10:45 AM worship services.
3. Represent Westside Baptist Church in community events. 4. Be comfortable with live-streamed or photographed services.
Choir members also have the opportunity to take part in the Florida Worship Choir experience — a chance to join voices with believers across the state.
More Than Music
Our Worship Choir is a ministry of encouragement and support. We love and care for one another, work together as a team, and seek to bless both our church and our community through every note we sing. In late summer or early fall, we begin rehearsals for our annual Christmas by Candlelight and Christmas Day Celebration concerts, a cherished tradition that takes place each December.
